Generally, nerve conduction, as well as evoked potential tests, may involve minor discomfort due to the minimal electrical nerve stimulation applied during the examination. Electroencephalogram (EEG) examinations are known for their cost-effectiveness, safety, and convenience. In addition to addressing common clinical concerns such as headache, dizziness, syncope, disorders of consciousness, mental disorders, convulsions, abnormal behavior, abdominal pain, and sleep disturbances, EEG is also suitable for screening and follow-up examinations of patients in comas, with strokes, epilepsy, encephalitis, and various other brain disorders.
