The location of the psychosomatic medicine & psychiatry outpatient clinic is on the 2nd floor of the Medical Building of the Hospital.

Besides, the integrated outpatient services, such as the Early Intervention Clinic at the Pediatrics outpatient area, Women’s Mental Health outpatient clinic at the Obstetrics & Gynecology outpatient area are on the 2nd floor.

There is also a Psycho-Oncology outpatient clinic at the General Surgery integrated outpatient area on the 3rd floor.

The Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic offers emotional and behavioral differential diagnosis and outpatient treatment to patients aged 65 years and older. 2. Psychiatric Intervention Center


Where to Find Us?

The Center is located on the 4th floor of the Health Management Building, that provides a wide variety of services include forensic psychiatric assessment, psychological assessment, psychotherapy, vocational skill assessment, group therapy, family therapy, disability identification, etc.

In order to find the Psychiatric Intervention Center, please follow this main hallway until you arrive at a glass corridor that will bring you to the Health Management Building. Once there, you will see the Physical Examination Center. Turn left, through the glass doors, and take the elevator to the 4th floor. There you will find Center.

Below please find the Chinese name and address of our Hospital, please print it out and carry it with you just in case you have problem finding us.

Our board-certified psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatric social work, occupational therapist, etc. have a full range of expertise; treat all types of disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, addiction, as well as many other areas of specialization.


Services We Offer –


Our clinical psychologists provide professional psychological assessment, psychotherapy, mindfulness cognition, attention training and other services for adolescents and adults. In addition, the Center will conduct outpatient group therapies aperiodically, with topics including cognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), stress coping, and emotion regulation groups, etc.


Patient Guides
  1. Psychological Assessments (PA) are tests and interviews performing by licensed psychologist which is typically beneficial for seeking understating of your cognitive, emotional or personality status. The PA will takes about 2-3 hours to complete. In order to help the evaluation to run pleasantly and smoothly, please ensure to arrive as scheduled time. The evaluation result should be ready for inquiry one month after the evaluation date.
  2. Psychotherapy is based on your needs, plus treatment plans and goals you and our clinical psychotherapist jointly agreed, which takes once a the a week the most for up to 50 minutes/time, and lasts 4 to 8 weeks.
  3. To uphold the patient medical treatment rights & interests, once the psychotherapist confirms the appointment date for PA and treatment, please ensure to make another psychiatry outpatient appointment move the date forward 1 month of the appointment date of PA and treatment.
    For example: if the appointment date for PA and treatment date is confirmed on 20th June 2022, the psychiatry outpatient appointment should be arranged between 20th May 2022 to 20th June 2022.
    If you are the insured of Taiwan National Health Insurance (NHI), please ensure to always bring the NHI card with you when visiting us.
  4. The actual appointment date & time for PA and treatment won’t be scheduled and confirmed until the psychotherapist discusses with you for the details.

Our staffing occupational therapist at the Center aims to provide services to the chronic mental patients and the elderly such as occupational assessment and treatment, functional assessment, group therapy, job training, etc.


Patient Guides

  1. An occupational therapist will arrange schedules for occupational assessment after the attending physician issues the referral; a follow up appointment for the report will be setup as well 2 weeks after the assessment.
  2. You are required to visit a psychiatry outpatient clinic first having the attending physician to prescribe a referral for participating occupational therapy. Each referral is valid for 6 treatment courses for a period of 1 month (calculating from the date of referral). If you finish all the 6 courses of treatment or courses exceed the validity period, you have to schedule a new psychiatry outpatient clinic to obtain a new referral for continuing another new courses of treatment.

The Center is staffed with psychiatric social work who specializes in providing couples therapy (or marital therapy), family therapy, parenting of adolescents, assessment of family function and social support, social resource services providing and referral, care tracking on alcohol and drugs addition cases, conducting psychosomatic disease education, providing various group therapies to multiple categories of patients and their family.

  1. Our psychiatric social work will contact you to arrange related treatments and services scheduling after the attending physician issues the referral at the outpatient clinic.
  2. To uphold the patient medical treatment rights & interests, once the psychiatric social worker confirms the appointment date for the treatment, please ensure to make another psychiatry outpatient appointment move the date forward 1 month of the appointment date of treatment.
