Thank-You Letter from Foreign Minister, Dr. Jaushieh Joseph, Wu

Foreign Minister, Dr. Jaushieh Joseph, Wu sent a letter to the Hospital president, Dr. Hui-Ting Huang M.D., expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the medical team and all the staff of the Hospital for their assistance and care of the delegation of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China, IPAC during their visit to Taiwan from Nov. 1st to 4th 2022.

In the thank-you letter, Minister Wu thanked President Huang and the Hospital for their thoughtful care to the distinguished guest, active diagnosis and treatment that take into account the epidemic prevention work, which reflected the professionalism and love of the Hospital’s medical team. It also allowed the visitors to experience Taiwan’s medical advantages and perfect system, which has deepened the friendship between the two sides.

In his letter of thanks, Minister Wu thanked President Huang and the hospital for their careful care of the distinguished guests, actively diagnosing and treating the epidemic, and taking into account the epidemic prevention work, which reflects the professionalism and love of the hospital’s medical team. It also allows tourists to experience Taiwan’s medical advantages and perfect system. The friendship between the two places continues to deepen. The co-chairman Bütikofer was impressed by Taiwan’s medical system and the Hospital’s service.

IPAC is a democratic alliance established in June 2020 jointly initiated by the European Parliament and members of the European Parliament, the United States, European countries, Australia, Canada, India, Japan and other countries on 5 continents. The Parliamentarians from various countries have further cooperated to pass legislation requiring China to abide by international norms, global security and universal human rights, which has far-reaching international implications.

This is IPAC’s first formal visit to Taiwan, led by co-chairman Bütikofer, which shows the importance and representativeness of the visit.
